Summary
Based on the ASHRAE-RP-459 mathematical model, the paper advances a simplified model. It experimentally studies the discharging characteristics and the temperature field variation under agitation conditions. It also compares the variation of the temperature field in the ice storage tank with discharging period between with and without agitation.
