Summary

The paper presents an experimental adiabatic vortex microtube. The minimum temperature obtained was about -8 deg C for a 6 bar pressure and 21 deg C temperature of the pressurized air and cold air fraction about 0.3. The energetic separation process starts immediately when the tube is fed.
