Resistance to snow mould fungi in breeding material of grasses.

Summary

Since 1983 all the breeding material of grasses in the official Norwegian grass breeding programme have been tested for resistance to two snow mould fungi. The breeding materials have been evaluated for agronomic characters in field trials for three successive years. During the same period, the resistance to snow mould fungi has been artificially tested.
