Results from IEA Heat Pump Programme and heat pump activities in Mexico. Workshop proceedings.

Date: 1900.01.01

Summary

These proceedings contain 13 papers presented at this workshop, held in Mexico City, Mexico, on March 14, 2000. Its purpose was to present and discuss both the completed and ongoing work under the IEA Heat Pump Programme, as well as heat pump activities in Mexico. Mexico is the newest member of the Programme. The country has a climate that requires both cooling and heating in houses and buildings. In process industries, there is a growing need for energy-efficient heating and cooling technologies and heat pumps are considered a potential option that can help to reduce global warming. The workshop provided an opportunity for developing ideas for future collaborative work and for clarifying how Mexico and other countries could benefit from the programme.
