Summary
THE PLATES OF ABSORPTION COLUMNS HAVE A DIRECT EFFECT ON THE WORKING AREAS OF THESE PLATES. FOR THE TEST CHECKING OF THE HYDRAULIC BEHAVIOUR OF THESE PLATES, THREE SYSTEMS WERE BUILT: VALVE PLATES, PERFORATED PLATES AND TWO TUBULAR MODELS. WATER AND AIR WERE USED. THE INDICES OF THE HYDRODYNAMIC FUNCTION AND THE WORKING AREAS DETERMINED SHOWED THEIR VALIDITY FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF ABSORPTION PLATES.
