Summary
Presents the development of building energy consumption calculation from simplified calculation to dynamic simulation. Analyses the characteristics and applicability of the respective method. Points out that the simplified calculation method is simple in calculation, but cannot meet the demand of accurate calculation of the whole year energy consumption for large-scale buildings; the dynamic building energy simulation method can be used to obtain more accurate results, but the complex heat transfer equations need to be established, and that applying different solving methods would lead to larger differences in calculation results, and adopting the dynamic method is main trend in future building energy consumption calculation.
