Summary

THIS PAPER GIVES THE CURRENT RESULTS OF SOME TESTS ON NON-CONVENTIONAL HEAT SOURCES SUCH AS SOIL AND STATIC SOLAR COLLECTORS FOR HEATING BY HEAT PUMPS. THE FIRST PART SUMMARISES THE DATA FOR BURIED EXCHANGERS, THE SECOND PART STUDIES THE USE OF THE SO-CALLED STATIC SOLAR COLLECTORS, IE NOT MECHANICALLY VENTILATED. THE AUTHOR DISCUSSES THE ADVANTAGES OF THE DIFFERENT POSSIBLE SYSTEMS.
