Summary
A recent study on the dryout of CO2 during flow boiling heat transfer is described including the effect of heat flux, mass flow, saturation temperature and diameter of tube, as well as the generation mechanism of dryout phenomenon. Study of critical heat flux, transform of flow type, prediction of dryout vapour quality and measures to suppress dryout occur will become the focus inthe future.
