Summary
After presenting the problem of soil freezing, the author, basing himself on long experience, gives some suggestions for preventing it and measures for correcting it once it occurs. The measures include the addition and/or replacement of heating elements; for this, vertical and horizontal central heaters can be used. The author describes both and notes the advantages of each.
