Summary

This paper presents a study of the Romanian line up to the environment, refrigeration and air-conditioning EU legislation with the recommendation of using ammonia as a very eco-efficient alternative. The establishment of a second version of Code of Practice (CoP 2) in this field is part of the work presentation. The CoP 2 was developed and finally agreed upon by relevant representatives from the trade and relevant authorities.
