Summary
The objectives of the Task Force were to consider and report on: alternative heating technologies to those traditionally used by the dairy industry; the legislative issues associated with the use of cold technologies; cold technologies in the development stage, particularly ultrasonifaction with and without additional heat; the acceptability of treatments for producing safe drinking milk and dairy products; the control and safety aspects of such treatments. This document concerning safety performance criteria constitutes the final report of the Task Force.
