Summary

The application range of this refrigerant as a substitute of R22 is discussed. The physical properties, including solubility in water, miscibility with oils, chemical properties with respect to the chemical reaction with metals and plastics, as well as the thermodynamic properties of this blend are presented. Close attention has been paid to the safety of using the blend R410A, including its chemical stability, flammability and explosiveness, as well as its influence on the human organism are described. A comprehensive list of references is given.
