DESIGN PRINCIPLES FOR AN EFFECTIVE AND RELIABLE SELF-CONTAINED AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM MEETING THE MODERN REQUIREMENTS TO COMFORT THE LONG-TERM ORBITAL SPACE STATIONS ARE DEFINED ON THE BASIS OF ANALYSIS. ECOLOGICALLY SAFE REFRIGERANT IS USED IN THE SYSTEM. THIS REPORT PRESENTS THE DESIGN AND TECHNICAL DATA NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW GENERATION OF AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS WITH A VAPOUR-COMPRESSION CYCLE AT ZERO GRAVITY.
