TWO METHODS OF TRANSPORTING HYDROGEN BY SEA ARE DISCUSSED, CARRYING IT IN A LIQUID STATE OR VIA A CHEMICAL CARRIER SUBSTANCE SUCH AS AMMONIA OR TOLUENE. THE TWO OPTIONS ARE SHOWN IN A PICTORIAL TABLE AND TWO SHIP DESIGNS FOR TRANSPORT OF LIQUID HYDROGEN ARE DISCUSSED. THE USE OF VACUUM SUPER INSULATION SYSTEMS IS CONSIDERED TOGETHER WITH MOBILE TANKS TO REDUCE TRANSFER LOSSES.
