Simplified human body model for evaluating thermal radiant environment in a radiant cooled space.

Summary

The paper explains how a human model is designed and how the radiant thermal heat transmission was calculated to simulate real radiant heat transfer. The model is placed in a radiant cooled space. Analyzed values of surface temperatures on the model, agree with measured temperatures on a real subject. The local thermal radiant environment around the model was evaluated quantitatively by visualizing analyzed values of a heat loss by radiation and plane radiant temperature on the model surface.
