Summary

A METHOD IS REPORTED FOR THE CALCULATION OF THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF MIXTURES AFTER THE GENERALISED LAW OF CORRESPONDING STATES IN RAWLISON AND WATSON'S INTERPRETATION, DIFFERENTIATING FROM ONE ANOTHER BY THE USE OF INDIVIDUAL SIMILARITY PARAMETERS INSTEAD OF GENERALISED CORRELATIONS, OBTAINED BY VERY ACCURATE EQUATIONS OF STATE. TAKING THE EXAMPLE OF NITROGEN, R13, R14 AND NEON MIXTURES, USED IN CRYOGENICS, THE POSSIBLE PREVISION, AFTER THIS METHOD, OF THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF MULTICOMPONENT SYSTEMS IN TERMS OF TEST DATA FOR BINARY MIXTURES, IS SHOWN.
