Summary
The method is capable of simulating air-conditioning systems in commercial buildings. It was used to simulate a typical air-water cooling system in a commercial building, with actual data from Hong Kong. The impact of two different control strategies (start/stop, continuous) on energy consumption were computed and compared and their control characteristics are discussed.
