Soldering/brazing and brazing.
Soudo-brasage et brasage.
Author(s) : ROUSSEAU M.
Summary
The author explains the differences between brazing, welding and welding/brazing. In the refrigeration industry, brazing is often used in groups of pipes with bends and where taps are present. Welding/brazing is performed with an additional (different) metal and is used to obtain parts with much less rigorous contact tolerance than that required in brazing but with a contact tolerance similar to that achieved using welding.
