Summary
The paper deals with devices used to control ammonia vapour release from safety valves or the equipment itself, when it is decided to purge ammonia for servicing. The paper describes an ammonia incinerator placed at the exit of a system used to collect the ammonia discharged, similar to the flame used in petrol refineries.
