Summary
The paper shows how it is possible to optimize the performance of refrigerating plants of industrial, commercial and air conditioning installations by applying automation and modern technologies, such as expert systems, velocity variators, specialized terminals, etc. Some examples are given. From individual automation of different processes it is possible to arrive at an architectural communication based upon computer integrated manufacturing (CIM).
