THE DRYING PROCESS OF AGRICULTURAL FOODS IS OFTEN EMPLOYED FOR THE PRESERVATION OF PERISHABLE PRODUCTS. IN THE PAPER THE AUTHORS COMPARE THE CLASSICAL DRYING PROCESS AND THE DRYING PROCESS BY HEAT PUMP EXPLOITATION. THE RESULTS SHOW THAT IN MANY CASES THE EXPLOITATION OF HEAT PUMPS OFFERS PRACTICAL AND ECONOMIC ADVANTAGES.
