SOME ASPECTS CONCERNING THE INFLUENCE OF THE FLOW PATTERN ON THE EVAPORATION INSIDE HORIZONTAL TUBES.

Author(s) : SANDRU E.

Summary

THIS PAPER PRESENTS SOME TEST RESULTS ON THE TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION AND THE VARIATION OF THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT AROUND A TUBE WERE R12 IS EVAPORATED IN CORRELATION WITH MASS FLUX,HEAT FLUX AND TWO-PHASE FLOW. THE AUTHOR OBSERVED THAT THE FLOW CONDITION, THEREFORE THE HEAT TRANSFER PROCESS, IS NOT CHANGED ON LARGE PARTS OF THE HEAT TRANSFER SURFACE OF THE EVAPORATOR. IT MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO SIMPLIFY THE THERMAL DESIGN OF EVAPORATORS WITH QUITE SATISFACTORY PRACTICAL RESULTS.
