SOME ASPECTS CONCERNING THE INFLUENCE OF THE FLOW PATTERN ON THE EVAPORATION INSIDE HORIZONTAL TUBES.

Author(s) : SANDRU E.

Summary

THE AUTHOR GIVES A SELECTION OF TEST RESULTS ON TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION AND THE VARIATION OF HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT ALONG THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF A TUBE WHERE R12 IS EVAPORATED, IN CORRELATION WITH MASS FLOW, THERMAL FLOW AND TWO-PHASE FLOW CONDITION. HE OBSERVES THAT THE HEAT TRANSFER PROCESS IS NOT CHANGED OVER A LARGE PART OF THE HEAT TRANSFER SURFACE OF THE EVAPORATOR.
