Summary

USING GLYCEROL-C14 THE EXAMINATIONS CONCERNING THE PROCESS OF THE COMPOUND PENETRATION INTO SPERMATOZOA IN DIFFERENT TIME INTERVALS WERE PERFORMED WITHIN FOUR HOURS OF THE BULL SEMEN EQUILIBRATION. IT WAS FOUND INDIVIDUAL SENSITIVITY OF SPERMATOZOA TO THE CRYOPROTECTOR WHICH QUICKLY PENETRATED INTO THE CELLS. GLYCEROL AT THE CONCENTRATION OVER 4% DETERIORATES THE STATE OF SPERMATOZOA MEMBRANES AND BRINGS ABOUT A RELEASE OF ENZYMES FROM THE SURFACE OF THE PLASMATIC MEMBRANE AND ACROSOMIC STRUCTURE. THE SPERMATOZOA AT THE CONCENTRATION OF 1 MILLIARD ABSORBING OVER 1 MG OF GLYCEROL WITHIN 4 HOURS REVEAL A HIGH DEGREE OF CRYOGENIC CHANGES OR DO NOT FREEZE POSITIVELY. IN SUCH A CASE THERE IS NEED TO SHORTEN THE TIME OF GLYCEROL-SPERMATOZOA CONTACT.
