Summary
THE REPORT DESCRIBES STUDIES ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CRYOPROTECTIVE EFFICIENCY OF A SERIES OF CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS AND THEIR STRUCTURE IN THE LIGHT OF PRESENT KNOWLEDGE OF HUMAN SPERM CRYOPRESERVATION. IT HAS BEEN SHOWN THAT THE CRYOPROTECTIVE EFFICIENCY OF A SERIES OF AMIDES INCREASED WITH INCREASE IN THEIR BASICITY. THE MOST PROTECTIVE EFFECT WAS EXERTED BY METHYLACETAMIDE AND FORMAMIDE HADTEETT THE CRYOPROTECTION BY GLYCEROL HYDROXYETHYL DERIVATIVES APPEARED TO CORRELATE WITH HYDRATION PROPERTIES OF POLYMER MOLECULES.
