Summary
Describes a popular spreadsheet program used by Lone Star Gas that allocates the actual costs of energy to the HVAC equipment instead of just using the average cost of electricity or natural gas. Using actual utility rates, design cooling and heating loads, building and HVAC equipment data, gas and electricity costs are calculated. Energy consumption is separated between building and HVAC equipment. Energy costs are segregated into their respective categories. States that the spreadsheet is easy to use and versatile.
