SQUID and applications: an update.
SQUID et applications : état de l'art.
Author(s) : DOLABDJIAN C.
Summary
The author presents the main types of SQUIDs, the electronics involved in the use of a SQUID dc and the systems for collecting magnetic flows. He describes the modulation techniques and positive-reaction techniques for some sources of excess noise and improving the flow-tension transfer factor. Current performances of magnetometers running at 4.2 or 77 K are described, and the main applications of SQUIDs are reviewed.
