Stability and alternating current loss of niobium-titanium wires for low excitation superconducting generators.
Author(s) : OHMATSU K., NAGATA M., TAKAHASHI K.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Alternating current loss was measured under field fault conditions by an electrical method and temperature rise of the windings was simulated. Stability at several points on the load line of 70 megawatts class field windings was evaluated quantitatively.
