Stability maps for rectangular circulation loops.
Author(s) : CAMMARATA G., FICHERA A., PAGANO A.
Type of article: Article
Summary
This article describes the behaviour of a fluid inside a thermosiphon loop. Horizontal sections were heated and cooled at the bottom and top parts of the loop respectively. Vertical legs were assumed adiabatic. The stability analysis was performed taking into account the effect of the following parameters: loop geometric configuration, ratio between vertical and horizontal lengths of the tube, inner tube diameter, Grashof number.
