Summary
STABILITY OF SHOCK WAVE IN SUPERFLUID HELIUM IN RESPECT TO SMALL PERTURBANCES OF FIRST AND SECOND SOUNDS MODES IS STUDIED. BY SOLUTIONS OF LINEARIZED EQUATIONS FOR SMALL ADDITIVES IT IS SHOWN THAT SHOCK WAVE OF PRESSURE IS STABLE FOR PERTURBANCES OF TEMPERATURE (SECOND SOUND), PRESSURE PERTURBANCES (FIRST SOUND), AND SMALL DISTORTIONS OF SHOCK FRONT.
