Summary

The processes of moisture movement at different stages of hulling in cold stage conditioning for average hardness wheats were investigated at length. Some linear dependencies were found, from which the necessary time for ageing according to a given factor could be determined (stage of hulling, hardness and moisture, at one-, two-, three-and four-stage cold conditioning of hulled wheat with an average hardness). In order to evaluate the results from conditioning, some grindings were carried out using a quality-quantity balance to the third groats system with hulled wheat, conditioned in one, two, three and four stages. The results confirm the linear dependencies.
