Static and dynamic characteristics of niobium-germanium layers for rapid superconducting power switches.
Author(s) : HLASNIK I., KOKAVEC J., FROHLICH K.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The static and dynamic superconducting and resistive state characteristics of niobium-germanium layers deposited on a ceramic substrate are discussed in the light of their use in rapid superconducting switches. The convenience of such layers for use as superconducting switches working at industrial frequencies (50-60 hertz) is discussed.
