STM4-120RF as refrigerator for supermarkets.
Author(s) : MEIJER R. J., MINIATT E. C.
Summary
The use of existing components (STM4-120 Stirling drive) to build a cold production unit is being considered. This necessitates designing specific exchangers. The usable technology is described; the performances planned for this type of cycle are indicated, along with the fields of application. A prototype is described for use in a supermarket. Prices are lower when mass production is undertaken as is the case at Philips, in the Netherlands.
