Summary
Rapid economical growth in Korea accelerates the increase of electrical power demand. The hot and humid monsoon weather in the summer increases the demand of air conditioning at a highly accelerating rate. The paper reviews the current status of the cool storage system in Korea in terms of its background and opportunities.
