Summary

This paper presents a swing compressor with no valves employed in air conditioning systems. The design and work principle of this swing compressor are introduced. Compared with the conventional swing compressor, this novel swing compressor has no discharge closed volume in structure and the adiabatic indicated efficiency is 98.5%. In addition, it is a new method to use centrifugal force to separate oil and refrigerant in the exhaust cavity and the reasonable design of the oil supply system allows this novel swing compressor with no valves to be employed in air conditioning system. Overall, this swing compressors with no valves has the advantages of light weight, simpler component geometries and more suitable for application in air conditioning.
