Summary

DIRECT COMPREHENSIVE STUDIES OF THE CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURE HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT, WHICH PERMITTED A DETECTION OF THE SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION. ON THE BASIS OF INDUCTIVE ALTERNATING CURRENT MEASUREMENTS, A DOUBLE SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION IS REGISTERED INTHE SINGLE CRYSTAL WITH T1 = 92 K AND T2 = 40 K. WITH THE OBSERVED DEGREE OF ORTHORHOMBICITY, THE OXYGEN OCCUPANCY IN THE CRYSTAL IS SUCH THAT THE FORMATION OF EVEN SLIGHTLY EXTENDED CHAINS CU-O IS IMPOSSIBLE ALONG ANY AXIS.
