Summary

Results of magnetization measurements performed on lanthanum and chromium sulfur misfit layered compounds are reported. The magnetic susceptibility variation versus temperature depends upon the cooling mode (zero field cooled and field cooled). Further studies are being carried out to confirm a spin glass behaviour which seems to be present.
