Summary

THE THERMOELECTROMOTIVE FORCE OF PALLADIUM-MANGANESE ALLOYS WITH A MANGANESE CONCENTRATION BETWEEN 0.81 AND 10 AT% IS INVESTIGATED IN THE 15 TO 100 K TEMPERATURE RANGE. IT IS SHOWN THAT BOTH THE DIFFUSION THERMOELECTROMOTIVE AND PHONON DRAG THERMOELECTROMOTIVE CHANGE SIGNIFICANTLY IN THE FERROMAGNETISM -SPIN GLASS TRANSITION (C ABOUT 4-5 AT% MANGANESE) WHICH OCCURS IN SUCH ALLOYS.
