STUDY OF THERMAL AND AERAULIC PARAMETERS AND THEIR EVOLUTION DURING FROST FORMATION IN POSITIVE TEMPERATURE DISPLAY CASES.

EVOLUTION DES PARAMETRES AERAULIQUES ET THERMIQUES D'UN MEUBLE DE VENTE FRIGORIFIQUE LORS DU GIVRAGE.

Author(s) : MALEK A., COLIN R., FRECHET O.

Summary

FROST FORMATION ON THE EVAPORATOR OF A DISPLAY CASE USUALLY SIGNIFICANTLY PERTURBS THE TEMPERATURES OF THE EXPOSED PRODUCTS. THIS EXPERIMENTAL STUDY AIMS AT DETERMINING THE EVOLUTION OF THERMAL AND AERAULIC PARAMETERS IN TWO POSITIVE TEMPERATURE CASES, DURING FROSTING AND DEFROSTING PERIODS. THE RESULTS WERE USEFUL FOR DETERMINING THE OPTIMAL FROSTING/DEFROSTING CYCLE AND THE SIGNIFICANT PARAMETERS TO BE USED IN FROST FORMATION DETECTION.
