Summary

In the paper, the numerical simulation method of road snow melting is shown and the results of numerical simulation are compared with measured data of snow melting system in the field. Moreover some cases of simulation on the effect of thermal conductivity of pavement and insulation under pipes are performed using the weather data of 2 winter seasons.
