Super heat pump energy accumulation system.

Author(s) : YABE A.

Summary

The technical characteristics of the thermal cycles and various technical features of compression-driven heat pumps are described. The author explains how a high performance has been realized utilizing a non azeotropic mixture of 3 fluids, or by high temperature pumps utilizing mechanical expanders (with work recovery) and subcoolers. The tests have been done in pilot plants of 100 kilowatts and can be increased to units of 1000 kilowatts.
