Summary
The operating principles which have been designed in order to obtain a transistor effect with a superconductive device, as well as the corresponding experimental results are described. Recently, a large improvement in the performances of these devices was obtained with the realization of Josephson vortex flux flow transistors and of polarized spins injection transistors made from high critical temperature oxide thin films.
