THE TRANSITION TEMPERATURE OF THIN INDIUM FILMS IS INVESTIGATED. AS THE THICKNESS DECREASES FROM 20 TO 1.8 NANOMETERS, THE TRANSITION TEMPERATURE VARIES FROM 4.2 TO 4.65 K. IN THIS CASE, THE SPECIFIC RESISTANCE VARIES FROM 4 TO 180 MICROOHMS CENTIMETER.
