History from Kamerlingh Onnes in 1911 to the discovery of the latest high-temperature superconductors (125 K), in 1990, and of superconductors of the fullerene type (33 K). Review of the key properties of superconductors, and more particularly of the Josephson effect and its applications in electronics. Current applications of superconductors: superconductor cavities in high-energy physics; SQUID in electronics, superconducting magnets for very intense fields.
