Summary
This report is a brief case study of the Swedish experience of embracing ground source heat pump technology (GSHP) with GSHPs now being one of the most popular types of heating installation for smaller residential buildings in Sweden. The use of heat pumps has increased substantially in recent years, to the extent that almost 40% of detached houses are using them, with 17% being GSHPs.
