Summary
The difficulties encountered by the members of the Swiss Refrigeration Association in applying the HCFC phasing out schedule conceived by the Swiss government are explained. The history of the Association since 1955, the relationship between German-speaking and French-speaking branches, the issues related to personnel training, the European context and the issues related to the new coolant fluid network are examined.
