TREATS RESEARCH INTO TEMPERATURE AND VELOCITY DISTRIBUTION IN CLOSED OFFICE ROOMS. REPORTS EXPERIMENTS FOR 6 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS OF SUPPLY AND EXTRACT VENTS IN AN OFFICE 4.2 M LONG, 3.6M WIDE AND 2.5 M HIGH. THE ROOM IS A CORNER ROOM WITH WINDOWS IN ONE WALL. IT WAS CONSTRUCTED AS A MOCK-UP IN THE INSTITUTE'S LABORATORY. VENTILATION CONSISTED OF A COMBINED MECHANICAL SUPPLY AND EXTRACT SYSTEM. FOR EACH ARRANGEMENT OF THE VENTS THE 4 OPERATING CONDITIONS WERE TESTED OF WINTER, SUMMER, SPRING/AUTUMN AND ISOTHERMAL CONDITIONS. THE VENTILATION WAS USED FOR BOTH HEATING AND COOLING THE ROM PRESENTS FINDINGS FOR VELOCITY AND TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTIONS IN THE OCCUPIED ZONE. (INT. BUILD. SERV.
