Summary

Taking a commercial building in Zhuzhou city, Hunan Province as the research object, the annual load is simulated with EnergyPlus. On this basis, the initial investment operating cost, total cost and the life cycle cost of the system in which the cooling tower and the ground exchanger shares different proportion of the cooling load, are estimated. The results show that the improper configuration of a hybrid ground source heat-pump system will result in hihgh energy spending.
