DEVELOPMENT, SINCE ABOUT 1950, OF THE MANUFACTURE OF ROAD TRANSPORT VEHICLES FOR COOLED AND FROZEN PERISHABLE FOODSTUFFS IN FRANCE, BOTH FOR LONG HAUL AND DELIVERY. SINCE 1970, THERE WAS A DEVELOPMENT, ON ONE HAND, OF VERY BROAD VEHICLES, INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY BY UP TO 20% AND, ON THE OTHER HAND, OF ROLLCOMBITAINERS, WHICH ARE 715 X 815 MM AND 1,800 MM HIGH PALLETS FOR DELIVERY ; FOR HANDLING THESE, THE VEHICLES, WITH PAY LOAD INCRASED FROM 1.5 TO 4, 6 T, ARE EQUIPPED WITH A LIFT PLATFORM.
