Summary

THE CENTRAL REFRIGERATING PLANT IS MADE UP OF THREE COMPRESSORS WITH ADDITIONAL CONDENSERS FOR THE RECOVERY OF CONDENSATION HEAT. A REFRIGERATING UNIT ALSO OPERATES IN WINTER FOR RECOVERING THE HEAT FROM EXHAUST AIR AND FROM AIR COMPRESSORS; A HEAT PUMP SYSTEM WAS OBTAINED BY INTRODUCING BATTERIES SUPPLIED WITH COLD WATER, MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO USE CONDENSATION HEAT AND TO INCREASE THAT ALREADY AVAILABLE. CONDENSATION WATER, AT 318 K (45C) IS CIRCULATED THROUGH AN EXPANDER, THEN TO THE PLANT. A BOILER HEATED BY WOOD CUTTINGS AND TWO OIL BOILERS SUPPLY SUPPLEMENTARY HEAT.
